Transfers!!

Well, no letter from him so we figured he or his comp had been transferred.

I got an e-mail from Claudio (He doesn't know English, I don't know Italian but he speaks French, so we correspond in French) saying they (Claudio and Andrew) were sad because Drew was leaving, but Claudio did not say where. Will update as soon as I know where he is. I guess its like "Where's Waldo??" just sub in Anziano Merrill.

Vacations in Cuneo

Well, Anziano Merrill has been very short on all of his letters this month because of vacations during the month of August. Not his vacation, but many, many of the Italians are on vacation. Nearly all the businesses shut down for the month. If it is like France, the essential ones trade out weeks while the other goes on vacation. The internet cafe where he normally goes to read and write his e-mail has been shut down, but thankfully he has made friends with a bakery and they let them in briefly to do their business quickly. (He's a man after my own heart, making friends with bakers!! good man. Now he should work on getting some recipes!!)

He said they have around 12-15 people they are actively discussing the LDS church with, and 3 have baptismal dates in the near future.
